How Does God Feel For Those In Hell?

God is grieved to see any of His creation going to hell. He gave His life on the cross and paid the price for our sins, so no one has to go there if they would repent. He loves everyone, and His desire is that everyone would receive His gift of salvation. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us, “(He is) not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

However, some people are so full of wickedness and evil that the scriptures also tell us He will not shed a tear for them when they are cast into hell. In God’s eyes, a wicked person is one who rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Remember that all of us were considered wicked, and destined for hell at one time.

Are You Ready For What's Coming?

We have all been witness to the disasters, storms, fires, wars, and unusual occurrences taking place in our world. Jesus said these things would take place in the last days, but the end would not be quite yet. He said these are the birth pains, and once birth pains begin, they become more intense and more frequent. It isn’t any one of these events that is unusual. It is the acceleration and convergence of so many occurring at the same time. This should get our attention and make us look up! Jesus said, “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Can A Person Lose Their Salvation?

If we believe a person cannot lost their salvation, then we must ask, "Do we lose our free will when we are saved?" If God will allow people to choose hell with their free will, why wouldn’t He allow us to depart from our salvation and reject Him with our free will? Also, why are there so many warnings in the Bible to avoid sin?

Go And Sin No More

Jesus confronted people who were in sin and called their behavior what it was. He called it sin. When the woman was caught in adultery Jesus forgave her but He said, “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11). When He healed the man at the pool of Bethesda He told him, “Go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you” (John 5:14).

People have become so accustomed to sexual immorality, corruption and wickedness that there is almost nothing society considers as evil. The word sin is very seldom used today but make no mistake, God has not grown insensitive to sin.

God Didn't Take Your Loved One

Many people blame God, and turn away from Him when a loved one dies. They believe that God could have stopped it but He chose not to. Is God in control of everything no matter what happens? 

Is God really behind all the heinous crimes, betrayal, murder, and barbaric acts that happen each day throughout the earth? The answer is no - absolutely not.

God is good. The devil is bad. In John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Jesus very clearly drew a distinction between what He came to do and what Satan and demons do. If stealing, killing, and destruction affects your life, it’s not from God. There is a very active spiritual realm whether you believe it or not.

Is The Devil Tormenting People In Hell?

People often ask us, "how can demons torment others when they themselves are in torment?“ 

In Matthew 8:29 the demon asked Jesus, "What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” What time was the demon referring to? He was referring to the future Judgment Day in Revelation 20:10. This tells us they are not in full torment now, but they will be then.

Dr. Maurice Rawlings in his book, “To Hell And Back,” has documented many near death or clinical death experiences, and said this about a woman who was near death. She was saying, “Devil’s are in my room, ready to drag my soul down to hell.”

John Bunyan in his book, “Visions of Heaven and Hell,” saw many demons tormenting people in his vision of hell.

The Battle For Your Soul

There is a battle going on right now for the part of you that will last for all eternity. That is, your soul and your spirit. Satan is your enemy. He will do whatever it takes to trick and deceive you and take you to hell, whether you realize it or not. He has even managed to convinced many people that he doesn't really exist. Revelation 12:9 says he deceives the whole world. He is so skilled in the art of deception that he can fool the entire world. That is not something to take lightly.

The bottom line is that our soul and spirit are eternal and will reside in either heaven or hell after death. We must be alert!

Does God Send His Own People To Hell?

We often hear comments like, “since God is loving, He would never allow His children to suffer in hell.” That's correct. His children, or His people,  are not suffering in hell. The people going to hell are also not his children. Everyone is God’s creation, but not everyone is God’s child.

It's true that God created all people, but that does not make God their Father. If someone refuses to repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, they are not one of His people. In fact, John 8:44 says in regard to these people "for you are the children of your father the devil."

What Is the Gospel?

The Gospel is mentioned ninety eight times in the Bible. But what exactly is the Gospel? The Gospel means good news! What is this good news?

Mark 1:14-15 reads, “…Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, 'The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.'”

Matthew 4:17 says, “From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.'”

The Gospel, or good news is part of the kingdom of God, and repentance is part of the Gospel. Why is it good news? Because we are now given the privilege to ask and be forgiven of our sins. That's very good news!

The Son of Perdition

"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." - 2 Thessalonians 3:2-4

When the anti-christ or the son of perdition is revealed, there will first be a worldwide falling away from God. We have seen this increasing even now among those who call themselves “Christian.” For billions of people to welcome this leader and believe his lies it will require a massive change in the world’s attitude toward God, the Bible, Christians, and the Jewish people.

On October 7, 2023 we witnessed a spirit of hatred and antisemitism toward Jewish people that we have not seen since Hitler and the Nazi’s during World War 2. Thousands of Christians are being murdered all over the world and for the most part, the news media is silent about it.

Once an anti-God mentality dominates society, the world will be prepared to receive the anti-christ. Paul says the man of sin or son of perdition will then be revealed.
