What Does God Think Of Sin?
Wednesday Oct 11, 2023
Wednesday Oct 11, 2023
Because society in general has watered down a sinful lifestyle, even celebrating some kinds of sin, we tend to think that God doesn't deal harshly with sin. This is not the case.
God hates all sin, and even hates what the sinner has become. Yes, you read that correctly. God hates who the sinner has become. God loves every person, and proved it by dying on the cross for all but remember that God is also holy. Unlike the world, God has no tolerance for sin.

Will I Go To Heaven?
Thursday Oct 05, 2023
Thursday Oct 05, 2023
The answer to that question is most likely no. You won’t. That may seem surprisingly harsh but look at what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14: "Many are on the wide road that leads to hell, and few are on the narrow road that leads to heaven."
Heaven is not your default destination. There needs to be a purposeful act on your part. Mentally assenting to the fact that Jesus is God is not enough. Unless you have asked forgiveness for your sins, and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you won’t be going to heaven.
Jesus said He is the only way to heaven. Each of us must know exactly how to get on that narrow road He described.

Am I Deceived?
Thursday Sep 28, 2023
Thursday Sep 28, 2023
The apostles asked Jesus what the signs of His coming, and the end of the world would be. In Matthew 24:4 He responded, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” This would be the greatest sign of His return, and the judgment to come.
We witnessed this kind of unprecedented confusion take place throughout the entire world starting in 2020. We now know what is possible. Moving forward, we must measure what we hear on the news, from society, and from friends, against what the Bible says. We must study the Word of God to avoid being deceived.

Warnings From God
Thursday Sep 21, 2023
Thursday Sep 21, 2023
There are hundreds of warnings throughout the Bible given to protect, preserve and instruct us. God also warns people through prophets, dreams, and visions. He warns us because of His great love and mercy. God has also warned us about hell. To warn someone of impending danger is a message of love. What lies ahead for those who haven’t repented should scare any rational person.

Does God Include All People?
Thursday Sep 14, 2023
Thursday Sep 14, 2023
Some Christians promote a doctrine called inclusivism or openness of God theology which is the belief in “God’s unbounded love.” In other words, God’s great love would not allow Him to punish people with eternal suffering in hell. These same people believe everyone will go to heaven.
God's arms are open for all to come to Him and be saved. It doesn’t matter what anyone has done, where they are from, whether they are rich or poor, or what race or nationality they are. God’s desire is for all to come to Him and enter Heaven. In that sense yes, He is inclusive.
However Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” There is only one way to enter heaven. It is a very narrow road and people have a free will to choose. In that sense, God is not inclusive. There is a choice to be made.

Can We Understand What God Is Doing?
Thursday Sep 07, 2023
Thursday Sep 07, 2023
You’ve often heard it said, “God’s ways are not our ways." So many people misinterpret Isaiah 55:8,9 which reads, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
This particular Bible verse has been used to explain away why bad things happen in life, and in doing so, blame God. This is an example of why it is so important to read scripture in the correct context. The Bible is our greatest tool to understand God and grow in our faith however, we must commit to doing the research when we apply scripture. There may be some questions we need to ask ourselves.
Listen as Bill and Annette share the truth about understanding God's ways from a biblical standpoint in this podcast episode.

Just Hours To Live
Thursday Aug 31, 2023
Thursday Aug 31, 2023
Imagine your doctor has informed you that you only have hours to live. Your disease is in the final stages. Most likely you will not last through the night. What is most important to you during the last remaining hours you have on this earth?
We all have questions about the afterlife but someone on their deathbed will be thinking about very different things from the person who is healthy and living a busy, full life. Spending cherished moments with loved ones, and putting our financial affairs in order are prominent thoughts for all however, these questions also take on a new urgency:
- Is there life after death?
- Is there a heaven and hell?
- Will I go to heaven?
- Will I go to hell?
The arrogant, demanding questions diminish in these last moments. Facing death tends to humble most everyone.

Will You See Family In Hell?
Thursday Aug 24, 2023
Thursday Aug 24, 2023
There are no family reunions in hell. You will not be united with your loved ones, sharing in their company, to enjoy whatever lies ahead. The only thing that lies ahead in hell is torment and isolation. Family relations would represent a type of joy, and there is absolutely no joy in hell. This reunion belief is based on a lie.
Do not be deceived into believing there is something good or comforting about hell. The Bible clearly states that the unbelieving person, who rejects Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, will end up in hell alone, and in torment forever.

Can We Pray Someone Out Of Hell?
Thursday Aug 17, 2023
Thursday Aug 17, 2023
Can we pray to get someone out of hell? Sadly, the answer is no. Once a person has died their eternity is set. That’s why it is so critical to pray for people and share the Gospel truth with them while they are still alive.
Unbiblical doctrines have been around for centuries providing false peace and comfort to grieving parties of the deceased based on a lie. We must be absolutely clear that it is impossible to alter a persons eternal destination once they have died. Teaching to the contrary of this is dangerous and misleading.
How do we know this to be true? The Bible shares multiple verses that give us clear indication that no one can be prayed out of hell.
