At the start of a new year, people endeavor to set goals and make resolutions. Those are good things to do, but what is most important?
Followers of Jesus Christ should know that spending time with God through Bible reading, study, worship and prayer are paramount. Have you ever considered how your life would change if you cultivated and operated in more godly wisdom?
Proverbs 4:7 says “Wisdom is the principal thing.” How would your relationships, your work, and your assignments from God be impacted by applying God’s wisdom?
To gain wisdom we must value the Word of God as much as we would a hidden treasure. We then need to search God’s word diligently in order to discover the treasure, which is the fear of the Lord. It's the fear of the Lord that brings Godly wisdom.
